More than a Website

First of all, we want to express a warm welcome to you, our non-Dutch speaking guest. “More than a Website” is the translation of our company name, Meer dan een Website. To explain this name, I have to start by telling a bit about our history.

John has a background as a business accountant and project manager in large, international organisations and next to that, he is an excellent photographer. Me, I have had several jobs in retail and design and PR. Together, back in 2006, we decided to join our strenght and start to develop websites. We chose a name for that, which was “Eindelijk een Website” (Finally a Website).

Since that time, we have had the opportunity to grow and develop in many ways. We have improved our knowledge and skills in promotions, marketing, virtual worlds (Second Life), writing, analysing and many things more. The more we improve and specialize our knowledge, the more we can offer our clients and partners and create new ways of communication. Because the era of communication has just begun, and we love to take part of it. For this reason, we decided lately that our old name was not sufficient anymore, we had literally grown out of our old name and it was time to find a new, that could cover our abitions well. “Meer dan een Website” (More than a Website) was an obvious choice.

News will be posted in this webspace on a regular basis, because we love to tell everybody what we are up to and what our ambitions are. Therefor, posts will be in Dutch mostly, but sometimes also in English, or even in French. To help you understand our writings, I can recommand to use Google Translate. Not because it is always perfect in translation (far from that), but it gives at least a context of what we are talking about. Besides that, You are always very welcome to ask questions by email, but also on Twitter.
