Metaverse Association – at the region Bellobas in Second Life – was founded the 1st of March 2009 by Philippe Batreau and Paula Anguita. Since we consider ourselves pioneers, we want to create room for startups and ideas for people and organisations or companies, who like to try some first steps into 3D internet and virtual worlds.
- The main purposes of Metaverse Association are:
- To give room to innovations and creations of people in Second Life and provide a place to meet.
- To provide an interesting place for all who is interested in development of new gadgets and tools and likes to exchange knowledge and inspiration, we will organize events. Presentations, exhibitions and contests will be there for all.
- To be a starting point for the businesses of our customers, who turn to us for website-building and web-promotion and marketing.
MetaverseAssociation has the following parts:
- Metaverse Galerie: “Faces & Places” and art-exhibitions. And -of course- the first <<Truncated Icosahedron>> in Second Life
- Metaverse Hostel: starting point for rl-businesses in SL (In development)
- Metaverse Theater: where presentations have the place they should have.
- Metaverse Shops: (in development) where gadgets and stuff will be sold, or given away..
