"What are you doing?" What are you, right now, doing? What are you doing. A very personal question who is also refers to a snapshot. About five minutes, about one hour or later there will be another action.

This fact already indicates that Twitter, because that I am talking about is perfectly designed for communication between people. Because people do everything on one day, people maintain networks, which extend from or deepen the contacts they have. And the only people that other people can respond and give an opinion, or information disclosure, or a tip, or something nice to say. All this in contrast to an organization or company.

Obviously, a company including. That action alone is not always something else. And of course the main activities of a company or government agency or in a lot of smaller operations to divide, but a question as "What are you doing?" What are you doing now, is an organization not apply and do have a weird question. I do not ask for a butcher or supermarket "What are you doing?".

This, in my opinion already, that Twitter really no communication for a company or organization itself, but of course do the people in that organization at work. But a company like "person" itself, that tweet "I am now 5000 to produce bicycle tires." Or "My employees are now advertising the establishment of brand X" is weird.

Of course I am aware that I now what the ridicule, but this is to indicate that Twitter is mostly a human communication. And yes, many companies still have a Twitter account and are widely followed. And sometimes it actually makes sense: offers from the supermarket, train delays, traffic jams, etc.. Yet never really engaged in an interaction. It is not to react and if you do so you will rarely get a response back. are not the accounts, not the contacts you build your network with.

I therefore believe that every business, every organization or government agency, which is considering to business or organization name to open a Twitter account, to ask itself whether they have something informative to say to people who use Twitter as a communication tool. For many media will perhaps be the case, and perhaps for public transit agencies. Dan has a Twitter account in the name of the organization meaning.

If not, and will most money, it seems better to do this trouble to create among employees who like to use Twitter, making arrangements on how you do with that deal within the organization. For example, you arrange any kind of information you should or should not you tweet. For contacts and networking with people within an organization, which is again one of the benefits of Twitter. And especially for public institutions, which are already very heavy and the name are closed, it may mean a relief when the staff on Twitter to the "outside world" tell them what's so busy all day keeps. Because working with a government agency called for nothing of course not a "public office".
