More than a Website

In my previous article about Twitter " I tweet, tweet you, we tweet "I have already promised an article on building a network Twitter.

The network of people during the last 15 months I have built is not huge, but very valuable for me, with people who regularly have something to say what interests me and amuses. Such a network will get not just happen, there must be something to do. In the first place by writing your own messages that others may be useful or fun.

Building a network does follow through completely, and followed by other Twitter users, residents or Twitter, Tweeters, Tweeps etc. If you decide to follow, does it mean that every message, every tweet that someone puts on your Twitter homepage ( https: / / twitter.com / ) will be read. Conversely, someone who you follow, each message you post to his / her Twitter homepage to read.

Followed and monitored

It is important to consider the following when someone decides to follow: any person that is going to get their message followed by e-mail and will then weigh up whether they will follow you back or not. Now there are a lot of reasons for it or not back track to find and many people, so many. However, there are a few considerations that many apply and so you can keep in mind.

It is wise to first have a few nice messages (tweets) to place. No literary masterpieces and preferably not too trivial events. Comments about the work you are doing, or want to do. About an article you've read or a website you can always have viewed. Realize that those who read your tweets it a first impression of who you are and especially what you're doing. The moment someone else is considering you to follow, it will be pretty sure the last page of your tweets and read on the basis of your decision whether or not to follow.

The other way is obviously the same: when you send an e-mail message from Twitter because somebody has to follow, you will very likely the profile page of the person open, read what this person as wrote and decide to do or not "follow" button.

Advised against: One or two post and then at random 1000 people to follow.

It is easiest when you start as a tweeter or a few people already know that Twitter regularly. Begin by following these people and see to whom they react and what they say. Then read the last 25 tweets from the people whom they respond. Perhaps people who are interesting to you. From there you can walk you to your new people "following'-list and you will also gradually get more and more followers.

In short: it takes a while, but then you something: an interesting, pleasant and valuable network of people you might otherwise never had met, and let alone, had spoken.
